Emma's brother would be called...

Kit
Rupert
Fergus
Caspar
Jonah
Marcus
Wilfred
Nathaniel
Albert
Oscar
Vincent
Lewis
Theodore

Any of these^^ or something else?

We can't have anything ending with N or beginning with I. Also needs to sound nice in a Home Counties and an Irish (Ulster) accent.

Opinions and suggestions most welcome.

CherriesInTheSnow · 15/10/2017 22:46

Spookily I immediately thought Kit before I even clicked on the thread and saw your list, consider it a good sign if you like ;)

Nonotmenori · 15/10/2017 22:48

I know several Emma's their brothers are:

Adam
Connor
Christopher

JennyLane · 15/10/2017 22:51

Punt in for Rupert as it's my favourite name hubs wouldn't let me have.
Second vote for a suggestive Henry. The name i had convinced him of finally but baby was a girl

RJnomore1 · 15/10/2017 22:51

Emma's brother is definitely Matthew.

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 15/10/2017 22:55

Marcus or Kit.

holdthewine · 16/10/2017 00:16

Rupert

Sophronia · 16/10/2017 01:00

Joseph

BernardBlacksHangover · 16/10/2017 09:40

Emma's brother is definitely Matthew

I tend to agree really. It's just that we have quite a common surname, so think there must be a lot of Matthew Surnames around! Not necessarily in the same age range. We can always give him a bonkers unusual middle name Grin.

I do love Rupert though. Also love Wilfred, but think it's having a moment whereas Rupert is a bit more classic. Love Roo as a nn for a little one.

Emma and Harry

Bucketsandspoons · 16/10/2017 09:44

When I saw only the title I thought immediately 'Matthew or Thomas'.

From your list: Nathaniel and Lewis are lovely names and go well, and really like your additions of Harry/Henry, Max and Patrick.

PandorasXbox · 16/10/2017 09:59

James
Thomas
Henry

boredofmyoldname · 16/10/2017 10:04

David
Ruairidh
Jordan

burntoutmum · 16/10/2017 11:26

I know 3 lots of Emma and Matthew sets

kaytee87 · 16/10/2017 12:47

James or Matthew

holdthewine · 17/10/2017 08:02

OP our DCs and their friends are all having babies lately. We know 2 little Ruperts and 2 little Wilfreds.

The siblings named Emma and Rupert I know are in their 30s. I think you’re right that Rupert is timeless.

LeonoraFlorence · 17/10/2017 15:06

I always think of Jack as going with Emma, for some reason :)

BernardBlacksHangover · 17/10/2017 15:27
