Does anyone here have it? If so are there any names that are particularly beautiful to you? Or are there any names that you simply couldn't have due to their horrible colour/taste? TOTALLY fascinated by this and hope their is someone out there who can answer my questions!lol x

Ooh. Quite fancy being pale and interesting. Grin

Wilburissomepig What beautiful names! Adelpha and Isla are both deep purple names for me.

This thread has confirmed that I probably have synesthesia. I thought everyone had it! Blush
Every name has a different colour, but it might be a mix- like my own name is a deep velvety blue, with a swirl of purple in it.

Ooh do me do me! My name is Chloë Grin

What an interesting thread... I associate names with ‘looks’ but tbh I think that’s just early memories of people with those names - boring.

I have it where the initial letter decides the colour of a name, so for me A names are red, as are all other words beginning with A, B names are brown and so on...

Sophronia · 11/10/2017 09:52

FartnissEverbeans I agree with you on the colours of B, I and S Grin

This is fascinating! What colour/texture is Rhidian?

Pidlan · 11/10/2017 12:19

spiderlight I can see Rhidian / Rhydian as a lovely yellow, like golden straw, but there's some light blue at the edges. (Familiar with the name because I'm a Welsh speaker)

kaytee87 · 11/10/2017 12:45

What colour / texture are James and Emma?

spiderlight · 11/10/2017 12:48

Thank you! This is so interesting. I asked on another synaesthesia thread ages ago and someone said it was a dark red name to them. I would love to experience this. My MIL and niece have to a degree and it fascinates me.

Dustbunny1900 · 11/10/2017 14:53

Emma is a comfortable, warm brown to me. It's a name I associate with the forest, lady bugs, fall, and a warm autumn knit scarf. Idk about James because I feel it's clouded by knowing a James! I'd say a red or orange though

kaytee87 · 11/10/2017 16:23

Interesting I think Emma is green and James red Smile

Carouselfish · 11/10/2017 23:52

Yes! I chose my DD's names as they were Gold, Pale Blue and Spring Green and I thought they 'looked' really pretty together.

Evelyn to me is a dark green, bottle green.
