A twin for Jasper?

We don't know the sexes but I'm trying to come up with B/G and B/B names. We already have 3 DD's.

We both really like Jasper for 1 boy. Our surname makes things tricky as it's 1 syllable and begins and ends in 'S'.

Girls names we like are -
Ivy
Sylvie
Effie
Marnie
Kitty
Cecily (Too many 'S' sounds?)

Boys -
Rupert (Ruben in the family, too similar?)
Henry
Rex (Clashes terribly with surname Sad)

Any other suggestions are most welcome!

Jasper and Marnie for me.

Other girl options:
Violet
Luna
Scarlett
Edie
Lila
Thea
Sadie

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 05/10/2017 22:45

Jasper and Ruby.

Bowsandbugs · 06/10/2017 12:20

Yeah I think Isla and Ivy are too similar unfortunately.
I don't like Marnie as I don't think it's a similar style to Jasper and I agree Cecilia would be too many S but the others are lovely :)

manicinsomniac · 06/10/2017 17:09

I don't think Sylvie or Cecily work as there are just too many Ss eg Sylvie Sims
Cecily Sparks

I love Effie and Ivy.

Other ideas:

Ava, Anna, Astrid, Anika, Abbie, Alexa, April, Bronte, Bella, Bonnie, Chloe, Cara, Callie, Connie, Darcey, Delphi, Daphne, Emma, Ella, Ellie, Eva, Evie, Esme, Elsie, Freya, Fiona, Frankie, Gracie, Hannah, Holly, Hester, Iris, Ida, Indie, Kiki, Katy, Lucy, Layla, Lyla, Lyra, Lara, Lola, Mila, Mala, Maddie, Molly, Nancy, Orla, Pippa, Posy, Piper, Polly, Penny, Rosie, Tilly, Tansy, Tessa, Xanthe, Zoe, Zia, Zeryn

Jasper and Henry are very ... tudory.

Both fine names separately but i wouldn't put them together.

Bowsandbugs · 06/10/2017 17:46

The second twin is a girl so I'm pretty sure Henry is off the cards🙈

Alittlepotofrosie · 06/10/2017 18:37

Grin i missed that entirely! Sorry!

SupermarketSally · 07/10/2017 12:45

I think Effie is my favourite girls name but DH says no way and that she will be Ivy..

I didn't realise he was the one who got the final say Hmm

(She will not be Ivy)

Have you pointed out how similar it is to Isla? It is a lovely name but it would probably get a bit confusing. That might put him off a bit

PhuntSox · 07/10/2017 15:21

Etta and Jasper
Effie (Elizabeth or Euphemia?) and Jasper
Estella and Jasper

MikeUniformMike · 07/10/2017 15:21

Obsidian

lollipop7 · 07/10/2017 15:57

Congratulations!

I love Jasper and Kitty one of your original suggestions.

I don't think Ivy or Effie work at all, sorry.

Other girl names I like with Jasper are

Penny
Clementine
Tabitha
Coco
Maeve
Suzette

SupermarketSally · 07/10/2017 16:02

@lollipop7 I love Kitty but I think Kitty and Jasper together sound like pet names 🤔

OP posts:
lollipop7 · 07/10/2017 16:04

No, they sound like part of the Bloomsbury Group to me.
I think the names are a little quirky but rather sophisticated too. Not at all like pets to me but there you go!

RoboticSealpup · 08/10/2017 09:32

Edmund

dotdotdotmustdash · 08/10/2017 11:40

I had sibling cats and called them Jasper and Lucy.

Inneedofacookeddinner · 08/10/2017 13:31

I know a sibset called Jasper and Effie. They have a brother called Ted too.

fairyofallthings · 08/10/2017 13:37

If it was a pair of BB twins they could be Jasper and Carrot.

As T2 is a girl, how about Jasper and Harriet? or Jasper and Imogen?

NapQueen · 08/10/2017 13:39

Jasper and Lawrence
Jasper and Dorothy (Dotty)

Montsti · 08/10/2017 14:09

From your list, I like Kitty & Henry.

I know triplets with a Jasper. One of his sisters is called Jemima...think they work well together..

Footle · 08/10/2017 14:15

I’ve had an S surname in my time , with sses clash

Footle · 08/10/2017 14:17

Oops. sses clashing with it. Very difficult - I wouldn’t do it, it makes saying your whole name quite an obstacle, especially if your teeth aren’t perfect.

Footle · 08/10/2017 14:20

Jasper is a semiprecious stone. Your daughter could be one too.

Smoliver · 08/10/2017 16:39

I love Jasper and Henry.
I also like Ivy and Cecily from girls list. Some other suggestions:

For boys:
James
Benjamin
Caleb
Oscar
Liam
Edward
Sebastian

For girls:
Rose
Corinne
Sophie
Ruby
Lydia
Carrie
Scarlett
Beatrix (Bea or Trixie as nn)
Hailey/Hayley
