Hello! Can anyone offer advice for baby boys and girls names that work well in the Netherlands/Holland as well as England? Many Thanks!

Boys, Lucas, Tomas, max, plus a lot of biblical names (e.g. David) match quite well

Girls, Anna, Ellen, Tessa, Rebecca, odile, (and a lot of biblical names again, Maria)

Bastard - interesting because we would have used Biiblical names, but dh refused many of them as 'weird to use, no-one does that' including things like Naomi, just because they were not generally used as names.

He also refused all names which are 'adjectives not names, we don't do that in Holland' which included things like Grace, Hope, Faith.

He also refused all flower names. (despite us getting birth anouncements with flowers names on, especially Rose)

He had been out of The Netherlands for a few years and also his family come from very traditional church background, so it is possible that he is not up to speed with what is happening there.

Ivo? I've met a few Dutch men called that, and Robin, strangely. Love Anouk!
