I know a British Shiloh in her teens - she pre-dates Shiloh Jolie-Pitt.

I don't think Shiloh Pitt goes by John because she thinks the name is shit, it's more to do with her identity.

I do think of the Pitt connection however after the initial 🤔 little Shiloh would make the name her own and Pitt would be forgotten about. A friend of mine named her daughter the most bizarre name I've ever heard...now I can't imagine her as anything else!

Shiloh is, at best, a boy's name - just as in Latin-based languages, names like Roberto and Paulo are boy's names and the girl's versions are Roberta and Paula. The fact that Shiloh has a "sh" sound, making it sound soft or feminine to some ears is neither here nor there.

I like it as a name, but it's very sleb, yes.

Shiloh is beautiful. it means "to whom it belongs" or "mine"
