I have a 2 year old Michael, he’s a Mick or mickey though. I hate mike/mikey.

I like Elliot but there are lots around at the moment.

Both are lovely. Elliot Michael?

Lemondrop99 · 01/10/2017 12:57

Elliot is lovely but so popular at the moment. Michael would be a refreshing change

Elliot will have his name spelt Eliot, Elliott etc.
Love Michael, Mike and Mikey.

Michael I'd prefer, though you have to think about how it would be abbreviated as it inevitably would be.

Michael. It's a lovely name, he can be a mike when he's older and Mikey is super cute for a kid.
I am biased against Elliot as all he ones I know are horrible for one reason or another.

I used to really not like Elliot, but now do! That makes me think it's a fashion thing though... I think it's having a bit of a moment. Don't know how it will date.

Michael is nice, but I don't know if I love Mike as a nn. Micky? Too mousey?

On balance I think I'd go with Elliot.
