I'm not a fan sorry. I do think of the car. That won't bother some though

Chaffinch4 · 29/09/2017 12:15

I think cat immediately, but I don't think that matters really. I think the same with Felix and there are plenty of boys with that name around! Cleo is pretty.

pipilangstrumpf · 29/09/2017 12:15

I’d think short for Cleopatra.

The car won’t be around forever. Is it still produced?

PlausibleSuit · 29/09/2017 12:17

I think it's a lovely name. Has such a nice elegance to it. One of my friends is called Cleo, she's ace. I don't think of Cleopatra, immediately, although I do think of Cleo Laine, the jazz singer.

The car is spelled differently - Clio - although I appreciate it sounds the same.

ChocolateCrunch · 29/09/2017 12:25

I like it. I don't associate it with anything/one in particular, personally.

nodogsinthebedroom · 29/09/2017 12:26

Nice name

abbsisspartacus · 29/09/2017 12:27

Cleo the cat is all I associate it with but it's a nice name anyway

whatatod0 · 29/09/2017 12:33

Cleo Laine.
I know a baby Cleo and parents are always having to explain it’s not Chloe. Apparently it causes some confusion. Hmm
I like it though and think you should go for it.

Consideredintrusion · 29/09/2017 12:35

I love it. Nev Schulman’s baby girl is a Cleo and she is adorable. The connotations I have to the name are of that lovely little girl. Not the car at all.

KadabrasSpoon · 29/09/2017 12:35

I love it but DH vetoed it for the cat sound.

roseeose · 29/09/2017 12:40

also considering Savannah ? x

pipilangstrumpf · 29/09/2017 13:56

Cleopatra is so much nicer and classy than Savannah imo

Jooni · 29/09/2017 14:01

Cleo is gorgeous- short, cute and chic. I much prefer it to Savannah.

allthegoodusernameshavegone · 29/09/2017 14:03

Cleo is great savannah not so

NerrSnerr · 29/09/2017 14:05

My initial thought was the pop group (Cleopatra coming atcha) but think they only had one song in the 90s. Think the lead singer was Cleo though and they had cool hair.

TheNoseyProject · 29/09/2017 14:07

I like Cleo a lot! I'm not a fan of savannah tbh

Smoliver · 29/09/2017 18:38

I like this name. I'm currently using it for a character of a story I'm writing.

If it was spelt Clio, then maybe I would've made the car association but I think it's fine spelt Cleo.

FartnissEverbeans · 29/09/2017 18:39

I love it. I don't see the cat thing as an issue - I've taught plenty of boys named Felix! But then I also like Rex for a boy Grin

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 29/09/2017 19:51

Yes, I like Cleo, Savannah is nice too !

UpTownFuck · 29/09/2017 19:53

My step sisters just named her baby Cleo I think it's nice but a few people have brought up the car thing

lizzieoak · 29/09/2017 19:54

Love it, also Clio (unaware of the car, I think of the muse of history). Not keen on Savannah - aside from anything else it sounds dated to me.

queenofthedump · 29/09/2017 22:41

I have one and obviously love it! She gets called Chloe a lot but no issues apart from that.

Timefortea99 · 29/09/2017 22:42

Cleo is lovely. Savannah is not.

SuperBeagle · 29/09/2017 22:58

Don't like it at all. Sounds like the name of a mystic to me.

On the other hand, Chloe is my favourite name of all time.

Prefer Savannah to Cleo.

ProseccoMamam · 29/09/2017 23:04

I thought of a cat sorry
