And any middle name suggestions.

Horseshoe1 · 28/09/2017 19:50

*one, not oj

igotyoubabe · 28/09/2017 21:31

Doesn't sound particularly pretty to me.. and is similar on the ear to Mardy which is a common phrase in my part if the country!

GreenGoblin0 · 28/09/2017 21:35

Marnie Rose is lovely

Lemondrop99 · 29/09/2017 15:41

Marnie is nice enough, but definitely not with May. It makes it sound like a twee character out of a children's tv show

AfterSchoolWorry · 29/09/2017 15:43

Reminds me of mardy or moany.

FluffyMcCloud · 29/09/2017 15:46

Love Marnie but not Marnie May.

Bubblesoup · 30/09/2017 06:14

Marnie Beth
Marnie Sarah
Marnie Kate

It's quite sweet. I've never heard of it before. It feels like it needs a full name too?

CircleofWillis · 30/09/2017 07:27

Marnie is lovely. It reminds me of the children's book "When Marnie was There". I don't like it with 'May'.

Acidophilus · 30/09/2017 07:33

I actually know twins called Marnie and Barney. Makes me snort every time.

Roxx1516 · 30/09/2017 14:46

Marnie- Ray is lovely ❤️

Roxx1516 · 30/09/2017 14:48

Or Marnie-grace :)

UsernameInvalid66 · 09/10/2017 16:33

Love a PP's suggestion of using it as a short form of Marianne.

In "When Marnie was there" (very good book by the way!) it is short for Marianna. I've met someone who had it as a full name though - at least that's the name she gave when she knocked off our wing mirror!

M4Dad · 09/10/2017 16:34

It reminds of that young lady from Geordie Shore.
