Is Azalea too "weird" for a name

Really love the name Azalea for a girl, however is it too "weird" or "out there"?

I don't think it's too weird. It's not what I would choose but I actually like it. There are s lot more "out there" names!

I love it! There used to be a young girl in my church called Azalea. I don't think any name is to weird for the most part. Cheeseburger would not be a good baby name, but Azalea is not an unheard of name. I might not be the best judge on this however, I'm named after a gemstone!

I know an Azalea, which I think is lovely, but it often gets shorten to Azzy, which I think is grim.

I think it's nice, would shorten it to Zalie maybe, which sounds prettier than Azzie.

I like it. I think it's too out there for me to use personally (I'm such a bore) but if I met someone with the name, I wouldn't think it was too out there if that makes sense. It's very pretty. Go for it!!

Iggy Azalea and Azalea Banks are both horrible associations.

Dahlia is an uncommon flower name without the pop culture association.
