Thea, Edie, Saskia or Phoebe? Max, Oscar, Dexter or George?

Which of these do you prefer? These are my top 4 for baby number (not pregnant yet though!) siblings are a girl with a short, just inside the top 100 names for 2016 starting with a Z. And a boy with a 4 letter name starting with H about half way down the top 100 last year but I seem to be meeting more and more of them annoyingly! Thanks.

Any other suggestions? I don't think our two DC's names particularly 'go' with each other anyway... so not too fussed on that but equally don't want them to sound totally out of place!

Great names! Thea and Oscar are my favourites though.

Thea or Oscar

NinonDeLenclos · 22/09/2017 21:04

Phoebe & Oscar (although Oscar's in the top 10)

Saskia or George

DuggeeHugs · 22/09/2017 21:43

Edie or Oscar

PersisFord · 22/09/2017 21:53

Thea is pretty, but I am from Essex and would call her Fee-ar which is not at all pretty. I like to caution prospective mothers of Theas about this!!

greendale17 · 22/09/2017 21:56

Thea/ Oscar

Summerswallow · 22/09/2017 22:04

Saskia is a great name, I know a very go-getting Saskia so I always associate it with that person. Thea has too much potential for wrong pronunciation (I don't know if it is Thhea or Teeea) if you are fussy about that. It's a pretty name though. All the girls names are nice in fact.

Thanks! Of the other suggestions I really like Luna and Jude but DH wouldn't go for them!

Others we are considering are Josephine, Gabrielle, Lucy, Zara or Orla for girls and Charlie, Rafferty, Atticus or Wilfred for boys. None feels right though. But as I'm not even pregnant yet we've lots of time to decide!
