Thoughts on the name Rosa?

I found a relative in my family history whose last name was Rosa. I was initially thinking of using as a middle name but now I'm thinking about using it a first name instead.

What are your thoughts on it?

I love it, we named our lost baby Rosa, so it's very dear to me x

Latina housekeepers in American films and TV programmes are always called Rosa.

I'm not mad about it, but it's pretty and inoffensive.

Rosa Parks AND Rosa Luxembourg. Its a lovely name with a proud history.

As per PP, Rosa Parks and Rosa Luxembourg. Plus a bit of Rosalind Franklin thrown in for good measure. It's an amazing name.

I have a Rosa, so obviously think it's wonderful
It fitted all our criteria, short, easy to say, easy to spell, everyone knows it but not massively popular and some incredible women share it Literally can't understand why it's not more popular!

One of my all-time favourite names! Funny, I was thinking about 'Rosa' yesterday and wondering if we should have chosen this name for our DD... it was No. 4 on our list but I still love it.
