Which name is nicer? I like them both but doesn't Nina sound like a nick name?

Nina

NameChangeFamousFolk · 21/09/2017 01:24

I know two Gabriella's and neither are called Gabby. One is Belle mainly, and the other is Gigi I think (Older teen one).

MikeUniformMike · 21/09/2017 07:00

Nina

Pemba · 23/09/2017 23:46

Nina. Gabriella is nice enough, but Nina is simple, elegant and less fussy.

LookImAHooman · 24/09/2017 00:14

Nina is fine but a bit meh. Gabriella is lovely.

NinonDeLenclos · 26/09/2017 14:58

There are a lot of girls in London called Nina. Pronounced Neenarr

ABCFamily · 27/09/2017 08:50

I prefer Nina, as personally I find Gabriella a bit fussy.

CakeRattleandRoll · 27/09/2017 10:19

Nina

3girlsunder3 · 27/09/2017 10:28

Gabriella is much much nicer

Glumglowworm · 27/09/2017 13:08

Gabrielle but unlike most people here I actually like Gabby

DiegoMadonna · 27/09/2017 13:35

I love it when people are so sure that kids will definitely without a doubt get the random nickname that they just thought of.

Don't call her Nina, she'll get called "Neenaw neenaw stupid siren girl" 100% trust me.

P.S. Gabriella is a beautiful name

tinypop4 · 27/09/2017 13:39

I love Nina but Gabriella also nice

ElizaDontlittle · 27/09/2017 18:13

Like both but really love Gabriella. GigI Fernández was a Gabriella and she was my heroine in my teens!

thistoosha11pass · 27/09/2017 18:17

Nina. Timeless and beautiful

dressinggown8305 · 27/09/2017 18:25

I much prefer Gabriella, but she may become Ella.

expatmigrant · 27/09/2017 18:28

Nina...but then I'm biased Wink

FindTheLightSwitchDarren · 27/09/2017 19:41

Gabriella

MacaroonMama · 27/09/2017 20:22

Both lovely. I know a fab 8 year old called Ninette which is sometimes shortened to Nina, I think that is pretty too and unusual.

Tealdeal747 · 27/09/2017 20:34

I really don't like Nina.

It's an acronym for no income no assets!

Coey2016 · 27/09/2017 20:35

Really like both - think Gabriella edges it for me

Imabanana · 27/09/2017 20:37

Gabriella definitely.

blackteasplease · 28/09/2017 23:31

I would say Gabriella but my dd is Gabriella so I would!

She is mostly nicknamed Gabs, her brother calls her Bella. Some people call her Gabby but I don't mind it anyway. NEVER ever heard Gobby.
