A sister for Aurora

DD1 is Aurora, trying to think of a name for baby no.2 if it's a girl (we have a boy's name - Rufus).
The only names we have vaguely agreed on are Liberty & Arabella but I don't love them like i loved Aurora when we chose it.

I like a theme, so I offer you:

THEA — Greek goddess of light and mother of the sun
LARK — the bird that sings at dawn
ALBA –means dawn in Italian and Spanish
SOLEIL — sun in French
ARTEMIS –Greek moon goddess
LILITH — of the night
PHOEBE — another epithet for Greek moon goddess Artemis

Lunar. Bronte. Fallon. Felicity.
Mirabelle. Maude. Amberly

I love Aurora and Aurelia.

What about Serena, or Carolina?

Please don't call her Liberty. I can only associate it with unbelievable chaviness.

I like Luna but spelled without the 'r'

Also Estella, and Nova which are both celestial on a theme with aurora (sort of)

I also think the name Elodie goes well with Aurora, and Anastasia too.

Thanks for the suggestions. I love Alba but DH not so keen.

Elodie, Aurelia and Estella are lovely names but idk why I just don't like them - they sound too exotic to be paired with our boring English surname.

Love Luna but it's my mum's cat's name

I'm a big tennis fan so Serena is out as everyone would think I'd named her after the champ!

Athena makes me think of that poster shop but could be in - what nicknames would suit though?

When I think of Carolina all I think is it a place.

I somehow don't think Elspeth goes that well. For me it's in a completely different style.
I actually like Liberty! I don't think it's "chavvy" as a pp said. George Osborne's daughter is called Liberty I think (well, whatever you think of Tory ex-politicians, chavvy he ain't )

You could still use Luna, unless your children visit your mum virtually every day. Little Luna would love having the same name as Nanny's cat and the cat will be long-gone by the time she is an adult. If you don't have the same acquaintances, then people you know won't know your mum's cat's name (which is a bit random) if you don't tell them.

Avoid Estella unless you want the poor child to be labelled when her class gets round to reading Great Expectations. Ah the innuendo! Starting with Sextella...

Elspeth is lovely - makes me think of Esme.
