I keep hearing on mumsnet that Noah is very popular, and also seen it's near the top on the popular baby name lists. However I don't know or have heard of any being called when out! My son is nearly 3 so we go to toddler groups but not baby ones so not really sure what all the new baby's in my area are being called.
Don't like to use a popular name but it's really growing on me (I'm due in novemeber with another boy).
☺☺☺☺

I love the name and nearly used it a few years back. Since then I know at least 6/7 people who have used it, plus bumped in many more at school/playgroups etc. It's popular!

zero. I really wanted to use this name but my H said no :(

PandaCat · 15/09/2017 14:25

I only know 2 school aged kids called Noah.

milosmummy16 · 15/09/2017 14:27

It seems alot of 'popular' names on the baby lists are not actually that common (maybe it's just where i live?!?) I'm in the south east and don't really hear of many names from the lists when we are out and at groups.

My son is called Milo and when we named him nearly 3 years ago it was quite unusual but now I'm starting to hear of more milos 😢 plus I think brothers Milo & Noah sound lovely together!! Xx

North East here, 1 Noah in yr 1, 2 in nursery.

If you like it, use it!

Fandabidozy · 15/09/2017 14:39

I'm in NE Scotland.

I know 4 Noah's under 5 and I work with kids so it's not overly popular here either.

Can barely move for Brodie's and Isla's though!

MammieBear · 15/09/2017 14:54

I live in Sefton Merseyside and can't say I've come across one, try bounty regional baby name checker.

LittleWitch · 15/09/2017 14:55

I know a 12 yr old boy called Noah and a horse called Noah.

17caterpillars1mouse · 15/09/2017 17:57

I only know 3 toddler Noah's plus 1 newborn then a 5/6 year old Noah and a 13 year old Noah

I hear it alot at toddler groups/ soft play etc though also. Noah, Oliver, Oscar, Harry and Arthur are the most common names we hear here

toomanydicksonthedancefloor1 · 15/09/2017 17:58

I know 2. A teenaged boy and a 3 year old little girl.

I like the name for a boy or girl.

OkyDoke · 15/09/2017 17:59

Two! An acquaintances son and the 17 day old on my chest ;)

jenniuol · 15/09/2017 18:05

One and he's mine 😂 I work with young children and haven't come across another one. The most common boys names I come across are oliver, Luke, Charlie, Connor, Jack, Harry, Evan, Daniel, Callum, Logan, mason and max.

Needalifeoverhaul · 15/09/2017 18:18

Just the one...two months old. Olivers everywhere though!

Susierocks · 15/09/2017 19:11

I live in the south east and the last 3 boys I know who have been born have been Noah. Also know a couple under 10. Seems insanely popular here. Lovely though.

Jooni · 15/09/2017 19:44

I know a few and hear it quite a bit out and about but it's a lovely name!

How about Asa?

dillytilly · 15/09/2017 20:06

smellybeanpole · 15/09/2017 20:08

DelphiniumBlue · 15/09/2017 20:11

I've taught 8 different classes this week, and each one has had a Noah ( not all spelt the same though!)

whichwaynow82 · 15/09/2017 20:14

QuantamBaby · 15/09/2017 22:02

Quite a few (I'm in the NW) but that's probably because it's a lovely name!

elQuintoConyo · 15/09/2017 22:10

None. But one female Noa aged 32.

TallulahBetty · 15/09/2017 22:12

About 6 under 6. BUT that's because it's a lovely name!

Legobitch · 16/09/2017 09:11

I'm a teacher in Wales and there are at least 2 in almost every class I teach (secondary). It seems incredibly popular here

Mrsknackered · 16/09/2017 10:07

I love it (I'm biased)

The youngest one I know is 4 and the eldest is in his 70's (I know 4 in total)
