Scarlet or Scarlett?

Sorry, all these Scarlet(t) threads are mine 🙈 I promise that this is the last!

How would you spell it? Scarlet is the colour, so why isn't it more popular!?

If someone said that Scarlet(t) was their name, how would you spell it?

People see the two T version as the name. I personally prefer the one T version. Most people would probably assume two Ts.

I prefer the one t version but everybody would assume two so it is probably easier just to go with two rather than a life time of explaining no Scarlet with one t, like the colour. I imagine that would get boring fast

Scarlett is the convention for the name, so I would assume the name is spelled with a double T every time.

AdalindSchade · 05/09/2017 18:27

Two ts for the name but it's very over used these days

ScarlettDarling · 05/09/2017 18:28

Sophronia · 05/09/2017 20:27

2 ts for the name, 1 t for the colour.
