Leo, alliteration, middle name opinions

Leo is currently front runner for our DS due in December. Any thoughts on this name?

Our surname also starts with an L. How do people feel about alliteration? It has different sounds to Leo, similar to but not
Luther. I wasn't sure at first but the idea has grown on me, I think it's cute.

Lastly, my mum died suddenly a week ago. Her name is Pauline. DH has suggested we use Paul as a middle name in memory of her, my dad always called her Paul. DD's middle name is in memory of DH's grandma so it seems fitting to chose someone from my family for DS. I don't like the name Paul that much but would still like to use it. Or does anyone have any other name suggestions for honouring my mother?

Sorry to hear about your mum. Lovely news about your pregnancy.
It must be very bitter sweet for you at the moment.
Leo Paul L is gorgeous

As long as no 'O' names.
(LOL).
Paul is a fine mn. .

I prefer Leon Paul.

Sounds great to me

Leo Paul L is really lovely.

Both my boys' middle names honour family members - I wouldn't use either as a first name but I love the meaning we have given their names. It's a lovely way to honour your mother.

I'm so so sorry about your mum. Flowers

I think it sounds good too, but if you're not keen on Paul, you could go for Paulinus!

Leo Paul flows really well. (Leon Paul is good too but is a major brand of fencing equipment (www.leonpaul.com/), although I doubt that will be an issue day-to-day!!)

That was a lovely idea of your DH's to use your Mum's name like that. I have an alliterative name and quite like it (common first name, unusual surname).

Your DH is a darling !
I love Leo Paul L., good choice.

My youngest son has LLL as his initials. He's only 11 weeks so don't know if he likes it yet though Smile

I like names with alliteration-they normally sound good.
