Im struggling if we have a boy. A few on here have said Zachary is really common but round here there is lots of Henrys Olivers Jacks and Elliots. I only know one Zach. Views?

Nathan is lovely and much nicer/ more classy than Zack! I wouldn't shorten Nathan at all, it's lovely as it is.

I’ve only ever known one Zachary -my son

I actually really don’t like the name Nathan but maybe I’m not classy enough

Honestly? I know about 50 Zack's. They might be a zack, Zak, Zac, zack or zach but looking literally every family i know has some form of a Zack. Only one or two are Zachary's but Zack is ubiquitous and usually with a brother called Max

NuffSaidSam · 03/09/2017 00:43

I don't any that go by Zachary, but quite a few Zach's.

I have a Zach. He is the only one at his 1,000+ high school and there is only one at the high school I teach in

Ranked 38-41ish over the last few years. So fairly well used but not super popular.

grufallosfriend · 03/09/2017 08:08

Maybe higher if you add up all the spellings - Zachary Zacharias Zachariah Zach Zac Zak Zack?

I don't know any little Zacharys round here. I really like the name, it was on our list and we're definitely not "common." I much prefer Zachary / Zach to Nathan / Nate. I know a few baby Nates.
