My partner loves Fergus for a little boy and I've been won over buy it I really like it, were both farmers and I think it's really Celtic! Does anyone know any Fergus's or think that it's awful! Really don't want a bullied child! Thanks xx

I love it. Love "Gus" for short. Doesn't sound strange at all to me (i have lived in Scotland though)

I know a Fergus, probably not a name I'd use personally, but it suits him and he's not had any teasing about it. It's a good name!

I once taught a Fergus, lovely boy. Never heard anyone tease him about his name.

It's sweet and I have come across a little Fergus. Not an outlandish choice. It's nice.

John, as in John Deere? Wink

It's a great name.

I know loads, but then I'm in Scotland . A few of the adults I know have shortened to Gus, but most of the younger ones are still Fergus.

Love Fergus John - great, solid name!

MollyHuaCha · 28/08/2017 23:08

Fergus - great name. Someone honest, intelligent, dependable, creative springs to mind for me.

PinkGlitter17 · 28/08/2017 23:23

It's really gorgeous! I had it in mind for DS when I was pregnant.

I hope I'm having a little boy then! 😬
