This is a which do you prefer, not a do you like them. If you hate the names, please don't say so as it's just not nice when she is going to be named one of them, so just say your favourite or not at all please :) thank you!

Madison (but Madeleine would have been so much nicer, shame).

Don't see the appeal of Peyton at all. It's like a place name, not a child's name . ('ton' ending meaning 'town'.)

Liadain · 26/08/2017 11:38

Madison is a lovely name, very flowing.

Peyton is just not a nice sound imo. Both are very American names but I get very different vibes from each.

NikiBabe · 26/08/2017 13:51

I have a second cousin Peyton. Don't like iy sorry.

Madison is better. Maddie nn etc.

grufallosfriend · 26/08/2017 14:33

Madison is a large city in the US. Not sure if you're happy to name your dd after it.

PaganGoddessBrigid · 26/08/2017 14:35

Madison, not because I like it but because it has become mainstream and so even though I don't like it, it sounds less noticeably unattractive than Peyton.

purplecorkheart · 26/08/2017 14:47

Madison is the one I prefer of the two

Enidblyton1 · 26/08/2017 15:03

I prefer Peyton
Probably because I only know one of them and she is a really lovely girl.
Madison is fine, but shortened to Maddie it's a lot more popular than Peyton (and I prefer more unusual names)

ZoyaTheDestroyer · 26/08/2017 19:25

For a girl?

Montsti · 27/08/2017 07:56

Madison as Maddie is sweet...

AdalindSchade · 27/08/2017 08:02

Just because the op asked for no negative comments doesn't mean we have to comply. This is a baby human who is going to be saddled with these names and the op clearly already knows they are odd choices.

Actually, Madison is fine, if a bit dull.

I don't like either but Madison's is a million times better than Peyton

Turquoise0wl · 27/08/2017 11:54

@AdalindSchade - it's really rude to do that though. Why purposely upset a pregnant lady? They're hardly odd choices. Madison is a really popular name now. Peyton less so, but it's very popular in America. It's not like she is planning on some of the real 'odd' names, such as Violet-Blue or Scarlet-Sky.

Peyton makes me think of The Hand that Rocks the Cradle - sorry
