Name help please... Im only 21 weeks so we have ages to go but we have a long list but we don't both love any of them on this list (middle name will be Henry after grandparents):
Sacha
Hugo
Ralph
Heath
Jesse
Eden
Or anything else? We want unusual but not wacky, and short.
Pluses / minuses for the above?

Hugo :-) I'm biased though as I have one.
I love Eden and know a boy Eden and he's a really nice kid.
Bit meh about the rest sorry

Orangebird69 · 24/08/2017 18:58

Sacha - I quite like it.
Hugo - no.
Ralph - it's ok.
Heath - it's ok.
Jesse - not too keen.
Eden - I think it's a girls name.

sonlypuppyfat · 24/08/2017 18:58

I like Heath and Jessie. I can't see any boy thanking you for Eden

Yika · 24/08/2017 19:05

Really love Jesse. Heath is also great. They are all nice. How about Joel?

SarahJonesS · 24/08/2017 19:09

Sacha - yep (sasha/sacha unisex, see Eden)
Hugo - yep
Ralph - nope
Heath - nope
Jesse - yep
Eden - nope. A boy's name in other countries but more commonly female in UK.

Joel
Tyler
Rex
Luca
Dean

alphasox · 24/08/2017 19:24

Interestingly I had Joel on there too but hub said no, not sure why. Interesting feedback, thank you!

Hugo and Ralph are cute! What about Rafferty?

greendale17 · 24/08/2017 19:33

Eden is a girls name.

I like Hugo

Susiethetortoiseshellcat · 24/08/2017 19:36

My favourite is Jesse.

I actually prefer Eden for a boy (I've taught both a boy and a girl with this name) but it is becoming more popular with girls I think now.

How about: Caleb, Jonah, Ezra, Aidan, Toby? I think they have a similar vibe to some of yours.

Susiethetortoiseshellcat · 24/08/2017 19:37

Or Felix?

Mulch · 24/08/2017 19:38

I love Ralph, I think Hugo is very popular

Mrsknackered · 24/08/2017 19:39

Sacha - I really like it.
Hugo - I like it but know a few now.
Ralph - think it's a great name.
Heath - don't like at all.
Jesse - LOVE. But in scotland it means something rude - can't remember what.
Eden - most definitely a boys name, I love it. I've said this before on here but I know a very good looking 20 something male Eden.

Mulch · 24/08/2017 19:39

What about

Calvin
Rowan
Ira
Hudson
Remy
Asher
Josiah
Drew
Franklyn

Tempranillo · 24/08/2017 19:41

I like Ralph and Hugo. Don't like Heath. The other three are too feminine.

mummytwoh · 24/08/2017 19:47

I like Hugo and Ralph the best, although not sure about Hugo Henry so would go for Ralph for that reason

RubaDubMum89 · 24/08/2017 20:06

Out of those I like Hugo and Ralph the best.

How about some of these which are in no way what I had on my short list for if I had a son

Toby
Reuben
Xavier
Vinchenzo
Antonio

Lemonnaise · 24/08/2017 20:45

My favourite from your list is Jesse, love it.

inaclearingstandsaboxer · 24/08/2017 20:48

I know a lovely young man called

Emre .... he really is wonderful

alphasox · 24/08/2017 21:16

It's interesting that some of the new suggestions have been on our list and deleted (mostly by husband who is very random in his likes and dislikes) including Toby, rowan, Felix, Caleb, Drew, Ezra and Aiden.

Emre is interesting and worth considering - never heard that before , is it Middle Eastern @inaclearingstandsaboxer ?

Thank you all x

I like Jesse a lot. Jonah? Ezra? Elias?
I like Hugo, but agree it's quite popular where I am.

I like Sacha, but would go with Alexander nn Sacha. Alexander provides lots of options and is nice anyway.
I don't like Ralph much and I think Heath is okay, but a bit American for me (so is Jesse, mind you, but I like that - taste is weird!)

SumAndSubstance · 24/08/2017 21:21

Oh sorry, cross post on Ezra!

GreenGoblin0 · 24/08/2017 21:21

I know a boy called Eden. How about Ebon instead?

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 24/08/2017 21:22

Ralph Henry and Hugo Henry, both great !

MikeUniformMike · 24/08/2017 21:24

I see you like British Prime Minister surname type names. I think May might be a bit unusual for a boy, but Cameron, Attlee, Wilson, Blair, Macmillan, Lloyd George might be OK.

Petalflowers · 24/08/2017 21:29

Not keen on Sascha and Eden. The other names are good.
