What do you think of these names?

I'm not pregnant yet, but we are TTC - on month 3 now, so getting a little impatient.

Have been discussing names and stuck between these for a girl:
Clara, Emily, Mabel, Matilda or Florence?

Boys:
We both like Archie William but he also likes Eric...

Just wanting some opinions 😊

Love Matilda and Eric.

They are all nice. I think Eric might be increasing in popularity though, just from threads on here.

Is the prince called Eric in the book of Little Mermaid? I know he is in the Disney version. It's just there is a new version of the film being made, and it's meant to be following the storyline in the book more closely. That might increase the name's popularity too.

Love them all, although I've grown up with so many Emily's so I'd go with one of the others over this.

I like Matilda best. Archie is/was very popular. Can't make my mind up about Eric.

Love Mabel and Eric, too many Archies around though.

Lovely names, Emily is a bit too popular for my liking but I love Clara and Mabel from your list. Archie is also very popular these days which is off-putting for me but I really like Eric.

I'm not keen on Mabel but all the other girls names are lovely especially Florence (Flo).

Archie is very popular and a little "cutesy" for my liking but very non offensive. Absolutely love William though. Eric I really dislike- sorry.

I don't like Mabel, but love Matilda (look up the medieval queen, if you haven't already) and the other names

Clara & Archie

Love Mabel, Matilda and Florence. Probably Mabel the most as it is slightly less popular than Matilda and Florence right now. Clara and Emily are nice but a little less exciting to me.
I do like Archie William but not so keen on Eric. (It does seem to be getting popular though, I know two baby Erics, so it must have an appeal that I'm missing!). Of that type of name I prefer maybe Ralph or Stan?
