Edwards/Ted/Teddies do you know?

We are considering it for DS2. He would definitely be an Edward, formally. Ted or probably Teddie would be an 'official' nickname but he'd be Edward on paperwork and at school etc. I love the name Teddie but would want DS to have the choice of going by something less cutesy as he grows up!!

It goes beautifully with our other DS's name (a classic along the lines of William/Henry but slightly less popular) and is my husband's middle name, and his great grandfather's name, which is mostly why we are drawn to it.

But I'm worried it's a little bit too popular and too 'hipster' style which I'm not hugely keen on.

Anyway long brain dump there (!) Essentially to ask how many children you know who are called Edward, or Ted/Teddie. What ages are they, and where (vaguely!) are you located! I've only met two in my life who have been under 18, but apparently it is increasingly popular.
