We'll probably go into the hospital with all four in mind and see which suits, but what are people's opinions please?

Hamish or Ted are my favourites, then Gabe. Not keen on Eric.

Mothervulva · 20/08/2017 14:12

Hamish
Gabriel
Edward
Are my order of preference. I love Hamish. Eric I have no love for.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 20/08/2017 14:14

The only one I don't like is Eric.

Decaffstilltastesweird · 20/08/2017 14:35

Love Gabriel and Hamish! They're two of my favourite names ever both vetoed by DH Angry.

Ted seems to be everywhere at the moment, but it is nice. I'm on the fence about Eric. Sometimes I love it and sometimes I'm not at all keen, which makes me wonder if it will be a name trend which comes and goes.

Loyly · 20/08/2017 14:36

Hamish

BertrandRussell · 20/08/2017 14:37

Edward.

But Ned.

In fact a completely different name!Grin

mumblechum0 · 20/08/2017 14:38

Not Eric

Susiethetortoiseshellcat · 20/08/2017 14:43

Edward.

DramaAlpaca · 20/08/2017 14:43

I vote for Hamish or Gabriel.

I like Edward but not Ted, and I'm not keen on Eric.

FizzyGreenWater · 20/08/2017 14:44

There's not much to like about Eric - and no good short form.

Ted is ok but part of hugely popular 'older name with hipster short form always used' thing going on at the moment. I know 2 Teds and 2 Neds.

Gabriel is really nice

Hamish is my fave!

elisa2502 · 20/08/2017 14:45

Hamish is my dogs name. Also as a teacher there are loads of Teddy's now.

diddl · 20/08/2017 14:49

Hamish.

CakeRattleandRoll · 20/08/2017 16:15

Love both Hamish and Edward/Ted.

AdaColeman · 20/08/2017 16:22

Eric

AdaColeman · 20/08/2017 16:26

Though I prefer the Erik spelling, and the meaning is lovely too.

Mrscropley · 20/08/2017 16:27

I have a Gabriel and he has got to nearly adulthood without being Gabe. .

lozengeoflove · 20/08/2017 16:28

Eric.

NannyR · 20/08/2017 16:28

Hamish and Gabriel. Ted is ok, although I would go for Ed or Ned as a shortening of Edward. I personally don't like Eric at all.

early30smum · 20/08/2017 16:35

Hamish, Gabriel or Edward nn Ted. Not a fan of Eric at all.

beaglesarethebest · 20/08/2017 16:38

@Mrscropley I love the nn Gabe. Has your Gabriel ever had any teasing about his name? Does he like it? I think it's a beautiful name x

flissfloss65 · 20/08/2017 16:40

Love Hamish

Chaffinch4 · 20/08/2017 18:28

Another vote for Eric (not Erik though). I like Hamish too.

grasspigeons · 20/08/2017 18:32
