Milo is good and so is Martha, stick with the names you love, try not to get too swayed by other people.

Like Milo! Feel Martha is a bit dull, much prefer Avery but that's probably because it's my grandmother's name.

Mae is basically NEVER used as a first name, which makes me want to pick it. Very nice name.

I don't like Lark or Avery much. Avery really does make me think of aviary - I need to meet a few more so I think of it as a name first and a cage second. It won't take long as I see it here quite a lot.

Lark doesn't sound nice to me, not in the way Wren does but that's a bit personal, someone else would say the opposite.

Milo was definitely the best of your boy choices. Apparently it's also an instant hot chocolate type drink, but never mind about that, it's not that popular I think.

Martha and Ellen were the best of your girl choices, so I think you've made a good decision.

Love Milo but have a deep running hatred for the name Martha, I think it's so ugly and old fashioned but not in a good way.

Love Wren and Every but I love most nature names and I like names outside of at least the top 50.

Love all of your choices really! No matter which you go for it's right up my street! Have a bit of a bias toward Ellen, as that's my name and I love it

@xdestarx I love ellen! I wanted to have it as our girl first name after ripley from alien (!) but DH wouldn't allow it :)

Martha is lovely. I like Ellen too. Milo is nice for a boy and I have a secret love for Rupert...

Milo (the boy from the Phantom Tollbooth!) and Martha both nice. But Martha doesn't travel - in most of Europe and elsewhere it will be pronounced 'Marta', which IMO is not half as nice.

Love, love, love Ellen. Mae is very of the moment. I really can't get with Avery (a 'surname' name IMO) when there are so many beautiful girls' names around. Not keen on Lark or Wren, and really dislike Rupert and Forrest (that's a lifetime of Gump jokes and 'no, with TWO Rs' right there for him).

Love Milo, although I tend to associate it with pets, I know of at least 1 cat and 3 dogs called Milo.

Like Martha too, Ellen is lovely and I def prefer Wren out of the rest. Friend has a DD called Wren.

Forrest is a surname to me but I like Rupert

The only Milo I know is a dog, and I think it's a pretty common canine name so it wouldn't be my choice. I do have a soft spot for the name Rupert so I would pick that from your options.

Martha is nice for a girl but Ellen is great, and for some reason really unusual nowadays. I also like Lark and Wren but they might be harder to pull off if she's not sweet and birdlike.

Milo is the name of that awful right wing propagandist...I wouldn't choose that name in 2017, sorry.

@newbian I know, this is my only issue with the name. There are lots of great Milos in the world too, however!
