Twin boys

Friend is pregnant with identical twin boys.
Her favourite pairings seem a bit quirky to me, just wondered what you thought:

Diggle and Spike
Hector and Hamish
Dillion and Douglas

Any suggestions on similar names/pairings?

Diggle and Spike?! Confused Are they puppies?

The others are fine. I'm not a big fan of matching initials on twins - bit gimmicky - but I do quite like Hector and Hamish.

Just for fun:

Rufus and Roscoe
Linus and Ludo
Struan and Sholto
Digby and Dashiell
Angus and Artan
Taliesin and Tolliver
Ivor and Ignatius

'Diggle and Spike' - I think she's having you on OP.

Hector and Dylan

Diggle and Spike - Sounds like two puppies on a CBeebies show!

Hector and Hamish - are they Scottish? If so I guess its ok

Dillion and Douglas - definitely the best option

Xander and Zack?

I hate matching initials. Not only does it not treat them as individuals, it's also really hard for people to remember them.

Aquamarine1029 · 25/07/2017 00:36

Diggle? Who would do that to a child?!

Epipgab · 25/07/2017 00:56

Too matchy (if this is actually for real!) Nicer if mixed up a bit IMO.

Dillon and Hamish
Hector and Douglas
Felix and Alasdair
James and Connor
Wilbur and Henry

Wulfric and Hudson
Austin and Rex
Jago and Jasper

Sophronia · 25/07/2017 15:18

Hector and Douglas would be nice.

MikeUniformMike · 25/07/2017 15:48

John and Edward
Romulus and Remus

moggle · 25/07/2017 18:10

OP tell me you meant Dillon not Dillion!?!

Lostinaseaofbubbles · 25/07/2017 18:16

I wanted Lex and Xander for my twin boys...

HorridHenrietta23 · 25/07/2017 18:42

Moggle yes Dillon/Dylan (I suppose) I like it best out of her names but does seem a bit ordinary for her taste.

Dylan and Dexter.
