I love the name Graciella but not sure if people would pronounce it the same as I would. How would you pronounce it?

Same as Maud, Grassy-Ella.

LemonBreeland · 21/07/2017 15:14

Gray see ella. I think it sounds a bit daft though.

Justhadmyhaircut · 21/07/2017 15:15

I went to school with a Grassy ella. Her nn was grassy arse. .

Sorry not helpful. .

Pallisers · 21/07/2017 15:15

Gra - cee- ella. But the c is between a c and an s. That's how the italian one I knew pronounced it. I think it is pretty.

brieandcrackers · 21/07/2017 15:15

DSH1993 · 21/07/2017 15:16

If you want it pronounced that way then I'd go for the version you've actually written. Much less confusing.

RelaxMax · 21/07/2017 15:18

Grassy - Ella. Emphasis on the El.

I've never heard it as Gracie-Ella.

Gracie is a name in its own right if you like that.

KoalaDownUnder · 21/07/2017 15:19

Grah-see-EL-la

Definitely an 'ah' sound at the beginning, not an 'ay'.

DSH1993 · 21/07/2017 15:19

I don't really like hyphernated names, thank you anyway x

I would pronounce it Gray-See-Ella.

TempsPerdu · 21/07/2017 15:21

I'd say Gra-chee-ella, but merging the last two syllables, so it almost becomes 'Gra-chella'.

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 21/07/2017 15:22

Grassy-Ella, but with the slightly lispy Spanish style way of saying gracias for grassy.

elQuintoConyo · 21/07/2017 15:24

Grassy-eela.

Not very pretty.

Ropsleybunny · 21/07/2017 15:26

Grace e ella.

Liavalder · 21/07/2017 15:26

Gracie-ella

Have u thought of Gabriella similar sounding name. Graciella sounds a bit strange, unless you like the name Gracie which is name on it's own and you could go with that?
