Sophronia · 17/07/2017 23:17

I like it more than Adrian

ilivebythesea · 18/07/2017 06:41

Hmm, not sure. Hadyn?

MrsPringles · 18/07/2017 06:42

Wall

Enough said

DownUdderer · 18/07/2017 06:44

Nope. Hadyn, yes.

BertrandRussell · 18/07/2017 06:46

Oh for goodness sake.

Some people have just got no imagination at all. Can you not think yourself for a minute into the life of someone called Hadrian?

Ginger782 · 18/07/2017 06:47

Trivia of the day: The Prime Minister of Canada's son is called Hadrian.

Ankleswingers · 18/07/2017 06:47

Hideous

00100001 · 18/07/2017 06:48

I like it.

However, I wouldn't use it. Because the child would forever be called Adrian

ceecee32 · 18/07/2017 07:03

I don't understand why children have to be given ridiculous names.

MaisyPops · 18/07/2017 07:07

I live near Hadrian's Wall so any Hadrian round here would be mocked like anything. Hadrian is a wall.

originalbiglymavis · 18/07/2017 07:47

What about Hannibal? Makes me think of elephants (not Lecter) and I do like elephants.

Viviene · 18/07/2017 07:48

No
No

And again
No

Whathaveilost · 18/07/2017 07:49

I know a Hadrian who is in his teens.
He doesnt get mocked.
I like the name.

EmmyInTheSticks · 18/07/2017 13:17

Thanks for the replies. Overall I'd safely say it's a no.

I did hear it first when Trudeau brought his son over to Ireland recently and I thought that's nice. It doesn't work so well on this side of the Atlantic I guess because of Hadrian's Wall.

Hamish? I like that!

Only if your surname is Walls! Grin

GinIsIn · 18/07/2017 18:23

I knew a boy at school called Wally. Everyone called him Wally. It was only when we were graduating I realised his name was Hadrian. Wall-y.

I was at school with a bully called Wally. Be was actually called Walter. In Glasgow, so the two may be related.

It would be a pretty great name for a builder.
