Irish girls name. Pronounced Row-sheen. My sister is 34 weeks preggers and is struggling for a girls name. Would appreciate if I could get your opinion on it Smile

I would think in Scotland you might get Rosh-een more due to proximity to Ulster, which would your sister prefer?

I was told that I was giving my DD a name she would constantly explain/spell. She hasn't and has liked that there isn't many about.

I really like it.

I love it and have it on my list of names if I ever have a girl!Smile

I like it. I'm in London and know a couple of teenage Roisins.

If you do go with it, remember it's spelt Róisín. I think it's a lovely name, it's my aunt's name

Lovely name, one of my favourite Irish names. Has a beautiful soft sound. Also more interesting than a lot of the 'Rose' names, or Rose itself.

Thanks everyone Grin
