Dc1 is Edward, no nickname or shortening (planned to use Teddy with a more formal name on bc but never worked out that way, everyone uses Edward).

For ds2 we are stuck between Milo and Henry. Which do you prefer?

I love both but Henry where I live often gets pronounced without the 'h' which I hate

I prefer Henry. Edward and Henry is pretty regal though - that might not bother you at all.
I don't know if I like Milo or not. There's something kinda....weak about it? I think I prefer Miles/Myles/Marlowe.
I also think of the purple tweenie.

ConstanceCraving · 07/07/2017 19:32

I was going to say Henry.

George, William and Oliver are also nice with Edward.

NuffSaidSam · 07/07/2017 19:41

I like Milo best.

I like Henry, but 'enry would get my nerves too much!

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 07/07/2017 19:43

You need another strong name. So I'd go for Henry

MammieBear · 07/07/2017 19:43

Henry! I have an Edward myself and always think the classic names are the best.

CPtart · 07/07/2017 19:58

Henry. I don't like Milo. Edward is lovely in its entirety. Also love William, Christopher and James.

ScarletSienna · 07/07/2017 20:32

Love both - helpful!

Henry and Edward feels safer and probably what I would end up going for but I really like Milo!

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 07/07/2017 21:22

Edward and Henry.

Redpramlady · 07/07/2017 22:58

Edward and Henry

Sophronia · 07/07/2017 23:23

Edward and Henry.

Lynnm63 · 08/07/2017 02:52

Henry, but any Regal or strong, traditional name will go for example George, William, James, Robert, Thomas.

Birdsgottaf1y · 08/07/2017 10:31

I prefer Henry, you could always swap to Harry.

As said, any King names will go well.

glitterlips1 · 08/07/2017 10:51

George. I prefer Eddie to Teddy.

BlackbirdSingsInTheDeadOfNight · 08/07/2017 10:59

Henry. not biased, not at all

Mothervulva · 08/07/2017 11:02

Milo. Eddie and Milo sounds good.

PhuntSox · 08/07/2017 11:09

Henry!

Also like William and Mathew to go with Edward.

StinkPickle · 08/07/2017 11:10

Henry

stitchglitched · 08/07/2017 11:13

DC1 is Edward (always called Eddie). If DD had been a boy our chosen name to go with him was Francis (Frankie). I like Henry best of your choices.

Flumplet · 08/07/2017 11:21

I like Edward with James. I know it's not on your list but think they go nicely together.

Threeandabit · 08/07/2017 12:31

I like them both. I like Henry the most on its own, but coupled with Edward it does make me think of Thomas the Tank Engine.

Milo is gaining popularity and is currently 135th most popular boys' name in England and Wales. It was ranked 287th, in the year 2000, gradually getting more and more popular.

Henry is ranked 13th at the moment, from 52nd in 2000.

I like Lucas / Luke or Simon. Thought you might like those as suggestions.

Thought you might like the info in case popularity would influence your choice.

pilates · 09/07/2017 07:57

Henry.

Jack sounds good with Edward too.

MargaretCabbage · 09/07/2017 08:05

I was going to suggest Henry before I saw you had. I have an Edward and would have chosen Henry for a second boy.

Notsure1234 · 09/07/2017 12:57

Seems like Henry is a winner here. Going to have a long think about if I can get past the 'enry thing.

Thanks for all your opinions and suggestions. My favourites I'll put to DH, 8 weeks to decide!
