If yes/no, what are your reasons? Thanks!

Love it

LockedOutOfMN · 01/07/2017 12:19

Really like it

Threeandabit · 01/07/2017 13:42

I like it. The Lukes I have known in my life have all been nice, I think that's influenced my opinion of the name.

bridgetreilly · 01/07/2017 13:55

Yes. Good solid name that won't date.

Sophronia · 01/07/2017 16:34

Love it! Would like to see it used more often.

CauliflowerSqueeze · 01/07/2017 16:38

Sorry no. Taught a couple of horrors called Luke but I also don't like the sound of it. "Lukewarm"

uncoolnn · 01/07/2017 16:39

Ah. My brothers middle name is Luke, and Luke was also the name of one of the best colleagues I ever had Smile lovely name

BeanSprout79 · 01/07/2017 16:45

Yes I do, my dh 'so name is Luke and he is a very kind soul and is a wonderful husband so I love it.

harderandharder2breathe · 01/07/2017 18:09

I like it, it's classic, easy to spell and pronounce, and it just has a nice sound

DramaAlpaca · 01/07/2017 18:41

Yes I do, it's a nice short neat classic name so it ticks a lot of boxes for me.

LadyOfTheCanyon · 03/07/2017 06:41

Apparently I was going to be Luke if I had been a boy and it was on the list of names for children I ended up not having. Smile

Bubblesoup · 03/07/2017 07:07

Yes i really like it. It's a good, solid, classic name.

HeteronormativeHaybales · 03/07/2017 13:38

Not massively keen but I definitely don't dislike it. It's a nice, strong, quite cool name.

NikiBabe · 03/07/2017 17:14

Yes. It is simple, not really able to shorten it and not popular today.

Decaffstilltastesweird · 03/07/2017 19:59

Not really know. It's fairly inoffensive but I don't like the sound of it. I also know loads of them, including at least three under 5yo.

Decaffstilltastesweird · 03/07/2017 19:59

"Not really, no", not know!

Pickerel · 03/07/2017 20:01

Love it

KatherinaMinola · 03/07/2017 20:08

Yes. It's a classic name and really pretty. Simple, easy to say and spell. Travels well. Seems less religious than some other Biblical names.

I've heard of it as a girls' name too, short for Lucinda. Quite like that.

Alcea · 03/07/2017 20:13

I like it. Simple, sounds nice, can't be shortened, suits a child or an adult

Montsti · 03/07/2017 22:08

I like it but know loads...that wouldn't be a problem for me but maybe for you?? There are 4 out of 12 boys in DS class (7/8 years old). I also know of lots of Luc, Luca & Lucas also popular.

Chloris33 · 03/07/2017 22:16

No, I really don't. I like the meaning, but not the sound of the name. Very dated, too. Makes me think of the 80's.

maitaimojito · 03/07/2017 22:20

Yes, I have a friend called Luke and he's lovely.

I've never met an unpleasant Luke come to think of it.

autumnboys · 03/07/2017 22:22

I've got a Luke - love the name.

SarahBeeney · 03/07/2017 23:46

Lovely name.
