Which do you prefer?

Julian, it's a bit more flexible. If you care about popularity, Jude is far more popular (Julian #272 and Jude #61)

Jude. Went to school with a ghastly Julian

sofato5miles · 28/06/2017 02:00

Jude. Julian sounds weak.

kthxbai · 28/06/2017 06:42

Jude. A million times. Julian is ridiculous.

Jooni · 28/06/2017 06:42

I like both but Jude slightly more. However, Julian nn Jude would be fab and maybe the best of both worlds? I also love Jules as a standalone name, like Jules Verne.

grufallosfriend · 28/06/2017 06:52

I find Jude very weak/wet. Maybe because of The similarity with Judy?

Julian sounds strong and masculine to me

17caterpillars1mouse · 28/06/2017 09:14

I like both but prefer Jude, well I prefer Judah nn Jude

Laubloom31 · 28/06/2017 10:35

jumpybluespider · 28/06/2017 14:44

100% Jude.
Julian is drippy.

LorelaiVictoriaGilmore · 29/06/2017 16:41

Julian. Definitely Julian.

TipTop333 · 29/06/2017 16:50

Jude

MikeUniformMike · 29/06/2017 17:04

I dislike both.

bridgetreilly · 29/06/2017 23:37

I don't love either. I know Jude is a boys name but I have several friends who are Jude-short-for-Judith so I always associate it with them.

What about Julius?

underhiseye · 30/06/2017 10:51

Jude. My 8 yr old is super cool .
My best friend has a 1 yr old Julius.

reuset · 30/06/2017 10:58

Jude

Seconding Julius as an alternative
