Both lovely but prefer Finn. My favourite of the middle names is Matthew.

I prefer Archer over Archie, but frankly I don't think the world needs yet another Archie!

Are there loads of Archie's? Seem to be lots of Alfie's in SW London...not that it's very different!

Finn. I think that works for all ages. Archie is too cutesy for me and doesn't have a less cutesy diminutive (that I can think of) to use.

Well obviously it depends on where you live, but here (East Mids) I meet more Archies and Alfies than anything else, I'd say.

I meet the odd Finn too but nowhere near as many, plus it's often a nickname for Finley. I think just Finn is lovely - very strong, clean and simple.

How popular is Finn now? They used to be everywhere, along with the Finleys and Finlays.

I dislike Archie for some reason.

Finn - I'm biased as it's our chosen boys name for dc1 due in november. Middle names Stephen James (chosen for family reason). I love the name Finn and am glad to see it gets the thumbs up from pps!
