I like the sound and feel of Sloane.

Obviously, I don't like the Sloane Ranger association, which kills the whole name for me.

What names can you think of have the same feel to them?

I like Fern. I feel like I should like Blair but it just makes me think of Gossip Girl

I met an Irish guy once and later heard that he'd named one of his children Sloane. He was an odious character and his choice of name didn't surprise me in the least. Appalling.

To me Sloane is a bit Brat Pack and a bit preppy. Similar names would be Piper, Bryce, Hadley, Harper, Peyton. Frosty blondes who work as buyers for Ralph Lauren and go out with investment bankers called Chip Worthington III. 😀
