Does it just make you think Parker Bowles?

Is the nickname cami awful? Milly? Mila?

I like it. It everyone else hates it!

I love it. Camille is even better.

Epipgab · 25/06/2017 09:50

Camilla is nice, but not Cami. Milla or Millie would be a nice nn.

Camille reminds me of camels.

I really like Camilla as a name. It's quite a common name in East European countries, spelled Kamila.

CrownOfPrawns · 25/06/2017 12:47

I like it very much, but I loathe Milly.
That said, I only know one Camilla (elderly) and nobody shortens her name.

DianneDionne · 25/06/2017 12:52

Camilla is a nice name - I don't like Cami or Milla as nicknames though.

I taught a Camilla and she was a horror - loved her name though but for this reason I wouldn't use it.

As another alternative, Camellia?

I don't really like Camilla, though I can't quite say why.

MoonHare · 25/06/2017 16:51

I like Camilla. I came on to suggest Camille as an alternative but plenty of others already have. Without wanting to sound harsh your little Dd will be around for many years after Camilla PB is deceased and no-one will connect the names then.

FreeNiki · 25/06/2017 18:57

I like Camilla.
Camille is too close to Carmel whihc i irrationally dislike.

disneykid · 25/06/2017 20:25

I don't like it.

And I just think of Chris Kamara when I see Cami.

RideOn · 25/06/2017 20:40

I just associated it with CPB, but I probably don't know posh enough people who could pull off being called camilla
