What are people's thoughts on the name Millie? Me & husband know we are having a girl but really struggling with girls names.

At first I loved it & it's by far my favourite that we've both agreed on - others are Sophie & Isabella. I know it's our choice but just wondered generally on people's thoughts. Xxx

Millie is too cutesy and faddy imo.

I dislike Millie (sorry). Reminds me of millipedes!

Love Sophie and Isabelle is quite nice too. I'd go for either of those over Millie, by miles.

Jesus Christ wasn't expecting people to be being so rude about my name 😂 was quite interested when I saw that this thread was named after me! Now wishing I hadn't clicked lol I've got a dog name and it's also an insult meaning slut 😂 it's also boring and cutesy 😂

I spell it Milli because it's really Millicent and I've never met another Millicent yet so don't think it's that common

I've been amazed by some of the responses as well @fluffykitties but I think people have strong views on lots of names. I still like it, and quite like Millicent as well, personally I think your name is lovely xx

What about Milly Molly Mandy? You will have a choice of three then and when you're pissed off you can use the whole name

Ah you'd probably hate my name fluffy! People do have strong opinions re names on here and it's so subjective. One person's twee is another person's cute as a button.

And no name is universally liked, so, in the nicest possible way, maybe threads about your name are best avoided if you are going to be upset by someone disliking it.

I'm wondering what your name is now @decafstilltastesweird 😂 I expected some strong views, and don't mind just wanted a general consensus on it from people I don't know. And wanted to see if people really hated it, I won't base my choice on this. I've found it really interesting xxx
