Middle name for Stella

We like middle names to honour someone our only problem is we have a tiny family! DD1's MN is my sisters name. DC2 due in June and struggling with a middle name is a girl. She'll be called Stella. Here's who we'd like to honour problem being we and our family don't like their names 😂 Any ideas?

Stella Ann (my mother)
Stella Laura (my Gran)
Stella Ruth (my great aunt)
Stella Odette (DH Gran)

Op can I just randomly tell you that I have close family members with names Stella, Ann, Laura and Ruth. No Odette though, or I'd swear we were related !

Odette is awesome as a middle name, especially since it has family meaning for you.

Why do posters roll out a dozen different names when the OP has given her shortlist?

Mine were attempts at variations on the shortlist.

Just Stella. I don't see the point of middle names.

I love Stella Odette, I think it flows well.

Ann or Ruth

If you have a lovely middle name you want to give why not use two middle names; that might help with your flow. For example, as your mum I would think Ann is the name closest to your heart, but Stella Ann is a bit awkward. So make Ann a third name, with a name of your choice in between - "Stella Catherine Ann" or "Stella Emily Ann" or whatever middle name you actually like the sound of :)

FWIW I think none of them really really go with Stella - they are too short. Odette the best, but something like Stella Catherine, Stella Marianne, Stella Josephina sound better.
