Thoughts, please! All go with the surname and middle names. This is as narrow as we can get it atm.

Annabelle is my favourite. Personally not so keen on the others.

GirlcalledJames · 08/05/2017 12:49

I like Annabel best. Charlotte is nice but will be popular owing to the Cambridge's daughter. Alexandra is very prone to nicknames so it might depend whether there is a nn for it that you like.

Sophronia · 08/05/2017 13:12

Alexandra. Less popular than the others, and still a beautiful classic.

LookImAHooman · 08/05/2017 13:14

Got to have a nn so that's all good. I probably love Charlotte most but yes, it's the particular popularity that's worrying me.

I love Charlotte. Not so keen on the others but they're all very classic.

newroundhere · 08/05/2017 13:24

Charlotte was the 25th most popular girls name in England and Wales, down from 9 in 2005. So not top ten popular and actually on the way down - who knew?! The other names were as follows:

Georgia - 52
Annabelle - 60
Alexandra - 116

If it was to be my name I would choose Alexandra.

Easily shortened if I want it to be, and so versatile.
I could have different names in various parts of my life: a family name, a name for young friends, a name for older friends, an arty name if I want to be a designer, author or artist ... Alex, Ally, Lexi, Xandra ...

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 08/05/2017 13:56

Charlotte is a beautiful name.
Annabel second choice.
The other two are not for me, sorry.

CountryCaterpillar · 08/05/2017 13:57

I prefer Georgina to Georgia

Donttakemeout · 08/05/2017 14:07

Georgia but I am biased.
Its Dd2 who is in her twenties nameSmile

Rockaby · 08/05/2017 14:44

Charlotte and Alexandra are my favourites. I don't think Charlotte shot up in popularity the way it was expected too when the Royal baby was named Charlotte. All the little Charlottes I know were born before the royal one! I guess, as she gets older though, and is more in the public eye, it could become more popular.

grufallosfriend · 08/05/2017 14:48

Alexandra is beautiful and classic (not as trendy as Charlotte or Annabelle).

I don't like the sound of Georgia, it also doesn't translate well into other languages.

FfionFlorist · 08/05/2017 16:34

Charlotte is lovely but Annabel is my favourite. But only spelt like that, really don't like Annabelle.

AceRag · 08/05/2017 16:47

I really like Georgia a lot.
Love Alexandra too.
Charlotte is nice but quite boring.
Not a fan of Annabelle at all.

I think I'd go with Alexandra. Only just beats Georgia for me though. Both gorgeous names.

SuperBeagle · 08/05/2017 19:53

I love Georgia and Alexandra.

Charlotte has been done to death where I live (not the UK), so I'm bored of it

Have never liked Annabel. I do like Arabella though, strangely

Emma1609 · 08/05/2017 20:57

Alexandra!
Then Georgia

Montsti · 08/05/2017 21:03

Love Charlotte & Annabel (not spelt Annabelle..) & I like Alexandra but not keen on the nns...

Really dislike Georgia and think it stands out amongst those names and not in a good way...

Mrsknackered · 08/05/2017 21:15

Alexandra. I love it!

millsbynight · 08/05/2017 21:41

My sister is an Alexandra. Beautiful, classic, and regal Smile

FreeNiki · 08/05/2017 21:55

Alexandra.

Regal, classic and plenty of nn potential and not popular at all.

DramaAlpaca · 08/05/2017 22:01

Any of them except Georgia.

I'd say Alexandra and Charlotte are perennial classics, Annabel is pretty & I'm glad you're not making it frilly by using the -belle ending.

Georgia I don't like for some reason, but I do like Georgina.

If you forced me to pick from your list I'd go for Alexandra.

LookImAHooman · 08/05/2017 22:06

Thanks to all for so many thoughts. Think it's helping narrow it down by at least one!

They are all lovely tbh!

Sunshineandlaughter · 08/05/2017 22:10

All lovely - you can't go wrong!

Ketzele · 08/05/2017 22:10

Alexandra is the best, then Georgia.

Charlotte - meh. But I really dislike Annabel, however it's spelt.
