Middle name for Elodie

I think we may finally have agreed on a name for DD2 but now need to find a middle name! Something short is preferable that helps Elodie flow to our surname beginning in L with 2 syllables...any ideas?

Thank you Smile

I thought it was pronounced Nee-va?

Not that I've ever heard, could be wrong though. Are you confusing it with Niamh?

Goodness, how awful! Confused

I'm so tempted to say Melody.
Elodie is lovely, agree one syllable in the middle, you've had loads of great suggestions!

@Redpramlady That's a lovely flowing name! Do you use Elodie as a full name or do you have a nn?
@NavyandWhite I love alliterate names too!
Thank you everyone for your suggestions Smile

@viques I tend to agree with the one syllable thing, I actually struggled to get used to Elodie (DH's suggestion) too because wanted a shorter two syllable name but I think it's pretty enough to sway me!

@Sittinonthefloor Haha DH said Melody (his idea of a joke!), Elodie Melody L wouldn't sound funny at all Hmm

I would have said Elodie Anne, or Anna, as some previous posters have suggested. It's a lovely name!

Love the name Elodie, so beautiful. How about Pearl as a middle name?

Thank you! Taken us so long to decide this time so it feels good to have finally decided :)

Elodie Anne seems a popular choice so farSmile. I also like Elodie Rae and Eve that someone suggested, thoughts? Otherwise we had also considered Elodie Ivy or Elodie Isla...

Of the names you've just listed I like Elodie Anne best. Ivy, Rae and Isla are quite of the moment I think, so more likely to date. Elodie is having a bit of a moment in the uk too, but I know a few French women in their thirties with this name too, so it feels more classic to me somehow.

Love suggestion of Elodie Pearl.

I know of a little girl called Elodie Elizabeth Juniper? Might be too many E’s for you but I think it’s a beautiful name
