If it's from your own heritage then yes. It is a lovely sounding name.

If not, then it sounds a little made up.

I once met a Hawaiian (I hope she was actually Hawaiian. But I'm about 90% sure she was) girl named Kalena. It's a really pretty name and she really suited it.

I thought Hawaiian too! I grew up on the Big Island . Yes, if you're from Hawaii great. Otherwise I would say no.
