This is the final 3... middle name will be Rose. Surname is short, one syllable beginning with B.

Zoey
Layla
Isla

Thanks!

Isla Rose.

strawberrypenguin · 28/04/2017 20:06

Layla

They are all lovely though

BarryKwipkee · 28/04/2017 20:08

Zoey/Zoe

Jooni · 28/04/2017 20:08

... and I like Zoey!

Not so sure on Zoey Rose though - lots of "o" sounds, it's maybe a bit repetitive. Is Rose a family name?

jamaicanbobsledder · 28/04/2017 20:21

Yes Jooni it's a family name

Isla rose
Or
Zoë Rosa (the y seems redundant - esp if you are using an umlaut)
However (of course) you may prefer it but in my opinion it looks out of place!

Congrats on your pregnancy and do let us know what you choose Grin

Sophronia · 28/04/2017 21:12

Zoe Rose

CPtart · 28/04/2017 21:28

Zoe is nice.

tadpole73 · 28/04/2017 21:46

Isla Rose

Ditsy1980 · 28/04/2017 21:52

I like Zoey Rose or Isla Rose

DramaAlpaca · 28/04/2017 21:53

All nice, but my favourite is Zoe. I don't like it spelled Zoey though.

NoncommittalToSparkleMotion · 28/04/2017 21:55

Layla

FeedTheSharkAndItWillBite · 28/04/2017 22:01

Zoe! (sorry, not helping)

But if Zoe isn't an option? Definitely Zoey.

I really like Zoe(y) Rose.

Ojoj1974 · 28/04/2017 22:16

Isla
I'm afraid I really dislike Zoe or Zoey.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 28/04/2017 22:18

Zoe Rosa

Yika · 28/04/2017 22:21

Zoey, such a lovely name and meaning and I like the unusual spelling. Flows well with rose.

SuperBeagle · 28/04/2017 22:25

I like Layla and Zoe (not Zoey, the y is completely unnecessary). I don't like Isla.

I think Layla Rose sounds better than Zoe Rose though.

CakeRattleandRoll · 29/04/2017 00:04

Zoe. Without the y.

17caterpillars1mouse · 29/04/2017 07:53

Zoey is lovely (this is my favourite spelling too) Isla is all common, and Isla Rose even more so

I also know several Layla's and I'm not a fan

Zoey sounds a bit fiesty and classy (similar to how Zara sounds) I like it

Irishal68 · 29/04/2017 07:59

Isla - classy and beautiful. I also love Iona - Celtic maid I guess! Congratulations 😊

Brighteyes27 · 29/04/2017 08:10

To me Rose is quite a traditional name but personally I think of Zoe as a 80's name and too modern to go before it, Layla sounds too chavvy like Chanice Alexis etc, Isla is my favourite out of those names but I don't know whether it sounds like a name that's maybe trying too hard if you see what I mean.
Names I feel that go with Rose are more traditional names such as Mary Rose, Lily Rose, Catherine/Kathrerine Rose, Charlotte Rose, Elizabeth Rose etc etc.

jamaicanbobsledder · 29/04/2017 09:37

Thanks - that is really helpful. My preference is Zoey, Isla then Layla so seems to be the general consensus so far!

Any other suggestions would be welcomed too Smile

Other suggestions? What about:
Chloe, Clio, Noa, Amy, Faye, Maya, Tansy, Holly, Aria, Ada, Kasia, Iona, Ailsa, Una, Ula, Nova, Lila, Lilac, Lyra, Zinnia, Zoya, Zusa, Ella or Suri?

But I really like Zoe(y) :)

deluxetrolley · 29/04/2017 10:13

Isla Rose or Lila Rose

CaipirinhasAllRound · 29/04/2017 11:07
