Nice name. Very pretty, but. You'd have to have a connection to the month of April to carry it off. IMO.

Reminds me of the giraffe at the moment after watching it in labour for what seemed like months..

I really love this name. I know one April who was born in August and that's never caused a problem. By looks of it you are talking about an April birthday anyway. Go for it.

Going against the grain, I think it lacks imagination to give your child the name of the month they were born in. A June born in June just screams unoriginality, to me. Like the parent thought it was convenient that their birth month could also be a name so thought, "Fuck it, we'll name 'er June".

I disagree. April is the prettiest of the month names and the only one I'd be tempted to use. Really lovely

Congratulations :) Love the name April. Not used a lot but without being too wild and whacky. It has a fresh sound and it's a lovely time of year (well apart from yesterday which was very wild and whacky here). Goes nicely with Jayden too imo.

I don't agree that Summers need to be born in summer, or that April/May/Junes must be born in their respective months. I think these are all stand alone names now.

It's OK but I'm going against the grain and I don't think it goes with jayden at all. April is a traditional classics imo, jayden is a modern trendy name. To me the 2 don't go.
