Hi,

We are an English family, but we are living in Spain. What suits him? Can be English (but works in Spain) or Spanish (but works in England) Smile

Thanks!

No idea how laughably outdated any of these are in Spain but those are the names that popped into my head when I saw him.

My favourite Spanish name is Jordi, but it's Catalan so may not work for you depending on where you are in Spain.

user1492757084 · 21/04/2017 10:48

In spain - Xavier, Hector, Felipe, Raphael, Samuel, Leo and Daniel.

MiniMaxi · 21/04/2017 10:51

Gorgeous!

First two that popped into my head:
Pablo
Alejandro

MiniMaxi · 21/04/2017 10:51

PS or Max, typically Maxi in Spain I think

namechange20050 · 21/04/2017 10:53

I like Xavier! He is so cute op! Congrats.

NameChange30 · 21/04/2017 10:53

I vote Leo

My Spanish born English baby (who's now 12!) is called Tomás.

It works for Spanish/English and also with all the belgiums and French around as well!

We are back in the UK now and I'm glad I chose name that keeps a bit of the history of his life but that can be easily used - and pronounced! - over here!

BendydickCuminsnatch · 21/04/2017 11:13

Nicholas is the most perfect name ever IMO, not v common but everyone knows it, works for all ages, is v manly and handsome, fits any profession. Nico is fabulous! Laid back and cool. And what a gorgeous baby.

youarenotkiddingme · 21/04/2017 11:32

Funnily enough my brother, cousin and nephews names are also all mentioned here!

Ds is the only one with Spanish connections! Seems a lot of names work across Europe nowadays which is nice.

He is totally scrummy Flowers

CuppaTeaTeddy · 21/04/2017 11:33

He is so cute!

shouldwestayorshouldwego · 21/04/2017 11:37

There are so many weird and wonderful names for children in England now that I think you could get away with anything that you can pronounce fairly easily.

danTDM · 21/04/2017 11:39

I live here.
In DD's class (7), the names that would work well in both countries would be

Hugo (not too many)
Eduardo (very few)
Josep (very few)

Please not (every second boy where I live, literally hundreds, includes grown men)

Vincente
Xavi/Javier
