Is it too much? Would you stick with just Max?

Lazy I have a longer name and have spent my life spelling it to people, telling them how it is pronounced and deterring them from shortening it.

I love Magnus too. Maximilian or Maximus are fine. Love the name Max because of Where The Wild Things Are and insisted on it for DGS.

I prefer Maximilan shorted to Max, although any variation makes me think of Maxi Pads...but after 2 DC maybe that's just me

Love the name, and it is my DS2 middle name, suits him perfectly.

I just see Maximus as a joke name. Maxwell as a full name, Max as a nickname.

I was thinking through the Maximus, maxim, max debate in my head and decided, being in Wales that the Welsh version Maksen resolved the Problem!

Maxim sounds like a size of sanitary towel.
