Second boy (was sure he was a she before scan so girl's name all chosen Blush) first born has a good solid name - Samuel James (Sam except when he's naughty!)
I've found it a bit tricky to bond with this baby and a name would help. We think we've settled on Flynn Fitzgerald (husband has very red hair and is half Irish and the name means 'son of a red haired man') what do people think? Just scared after giving first son such a 'solid' name to go a bit rogue!

I'll keep both in mind and make a final decision nearer the birth - at least we have a first name!

Great choice.

It's lovely, I also like
Thomas Fitzgerald
Rufus Fitzgerald
Angus Fitzgerald

I know a dog called Rufus, stick with Flynn

Who knows - I may start a Fitzgerald trend! The name means more to me than just an author, it's like he wrote my husband and I's love story(so soppy!) I'm definitely more a Jay Gatsby girl than a Mr Darcy girl!

Jelly in case you still like Rory, it's derived from the Irish (and Scottish) Ruairi meaning red king, if your husband needs persuading!

Mummamayhem · 14/04/2017 20:20

Love the name Flynn

BikeRunSki · 14/04/2017 20:22

I know a few Flynns. None are dogs!!!

Flynn Fitzgerald is an excellent name.

DramaAlpaca · 14/04/2017 20:24

I love Flynn.

I'm not so keen on the Fitzgerald bit, but it's a middle name so anything you like goes really.

I like it. Congratulations in advance. :)
