Maddie!

I never understood the appeal of Olivia.

mum2be2boys · 05/04/2017 19:29

Love them both! I'd probably go with Olivia though :-)

ohdoadoodoo · 05/04/2017 19:49

I love Madeline and Olivia. Don't like Maddie - sounds common.

queenT90 · 05/04/2017 19:59

Olivia :)

daisypond · 05/04/2017 20:20

Both nice.
I prefer Madeleine, though

CPtart · 05/04/2017 20:32

Madeleine before Olivia. OLivia before Maddie. Far far too many i.e. ending names about as it is.

3littlebadgers · 05/04/2017 20:35

I like Madeline more, but I've taught two and they have both been...erm spirited Blush

SuperBeagle · 05/04/2017 21:32

I like Madeleine more than Olivia, but Liv more than Maddie, so I'm no help. Grin

I'd probably pick Olivia simply based on my dislike of Maddie.

ladylunchalot1 · 05/04/2017 21:49

Olivinne combination of the two

Olivileine? Maddivia, Olileine, Maddia? Molivia? ;)

deluxetrolley · 06/04/2017 01:23

Olivia nn Livvy

youvegottabekiddingme · 06/04/2017 01:32

I knew identical twins at school who's names were madeleine and Olivia. Everyone called them maddie and livvy.

GreenHillsSunnySkies · 06/04/2017 01:42

I like both of them but have to agree with a pp they've both been done to death, there are so many of them in the 0-5 age group especially and it's really going to date them one day. DH and I have 2 Maddies (one Madeleine and one Madison) and two Olivias in among our nieces and cousins' kids, our neighbour's dd is Maddie and her niece is Olivia. Same with the Joshs and Jakes for boys. Sorry, OP, not helpful I know.

SuperBeagle · 06/04/2017 01:51

Madeleine's really not done to death in the UK though. It ranks in the 170s for popularity. Olivia, by comparison is always in the upper half of the top 10.

Pemba · 06/04/2017 03:11

Doesn't the OP mean she is having twin girls 'DTD' so she wants to use Maddie (Madeleine) AND Olivia?

Both lovely IMO
