Hi guys
I'd like some opinions on the name Cadby for a little boy.
I have an Alfie and Bobby already and wanted something that would flow with the 2 names but something a little more unusual.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Garnethair 'flakey' GrinGrinGrin

How about Rolo/Rollo?

Beryl19 · 29/03/2017 21:42

I like Cole but my partner thinks it's 'boring'.
I like Cary too but my name is Kerry so it's sounds almost similar.
We're not actually finding out the sex so it may not be a boy but we have a few girls names we kind of like, we also have a daughter named Harlow so will need to flow with that too.
It's so hard xx

Same as post thought you'd misspelt cabury

DramaAlpaca · 29/03/2017 23:06

Sorry, it's awful. And you'd end up with Cad as a nickname, which wouldn't be good.

KoalaDownUnder · 30/03/2017 04:04

No, it's silly.

What about Clancy?

Mumzypopz · 30/03/2017 07:51

Cadburys?

Caleb?

WellErrr · 30/03/2017 07:56

Caspar?

Bobbybobbins · 30/03/2017 08:00

Caleb is great!

fruityb · 30/03/2017 08:01

I keep saying Cabdy that would confuse me. I also thought Gatsby!

Like Jett which was suggested. I hate Cavan but I really dislike names like Caben or Braiden they just sound made up.

LadyOfTheCanyon · 30/03/2017 08:11

Oh Lord, no. It's awful.
I appreciate after a while that all names start to sound equally weird when you're obsessing about them but your child has to live with it.
I'm going to stop now because "unique" names make me have to have a lie down.

What about Corey? Follows the ABC theme and ends in the eeee sound?

cad
1. a man who behaves dishonourably, especially towards a woman."her adulterous cad of a husband"

Definitely no.

Wabtubg to honour your DP's grandfather is a nice idea.

But if you want to do it with this name...? I think you should use it as a middle name...

TheShapeofYou · 30/03/2017 15:51

I know of a Cadley, if that helps?

Allthebestnamesareused · 30/03/2017 15:52

Are you working your way through the alphabet?A B C .....

Beryl19 · 30/03/2017 17:27

Well it wasn't intended with the a, b it just worked out like that, we do have a daughter who has a h name so she sort of throws it up a bit x

Cadly just sounds like an adverb of cad.
