It's too frilly for me tbh. I can imagine it on a dog or a doll or something, not on a child.
Of course though it's get shortened to Belle or Rose/Rosa and they're all great nn's for it. So it's a useable name.

OlennasWimple · 26/03/2017 04:38

Rosamund is much nicer

SerialReJoiner · 26/03/2017 07:06

The images this name conjures up are hilariousGrin

Luckily nobody has said such things to our faces, though who knows; everyone might be calling us twee Disney princesses behind our backs....

Gallavich · 26/03/2017 07:09

It's too much imo. Rosa is lovely. I like Rosalie too.

GruffaloPants · 26/03/2017 07:18

Sounds like something my 5yo would call one of her dolls, then change it because it's too fussy.

CPtart · 26/03/2017 08:06

Sounds like the name of a cruise liner

Jooni · 26/03/2017 09:17

Yes, way too fussy and frilly for me too but my taste is probably just very different. It's not a terrible name, plenty of options for her to shorten it to as well if she wants to later. I do vastly prefer it spelt Rosabel though - for some reason it feels much more streamlined and grown-up.

Graceflorrick · 26/03/2017 09:21

We use Anabel, Cristabel is used in British history.. why not Rosabel? If you like it, go for it.

Garnethair · 26/03/2017 09:24

Sounds like a tea shop name. Rosamund is better.

PutThatPomBearBack · 26/03/2017 10:19

Not the kind of name is usually go for but I actually really like it!

OpheliaHamlet · 26/03/2017 15:03

I love it (but then again, I am partial to 'bel/le' names'). I think it's unique with out being really 'out there'. Plus, there's plenty of nicknames to choose from if preferred

Mrsknackered · 26/03/2017 21:58

If you're going to do it, use 'Rosabel'. The other way is ridiculous.

mummytobemaybe · 28/03/2017 11:39

I love it

buttercup54321 · 28/03/2017 22:06

MOO. Sounds like a cows name to me!!
Rosie
Rosina

210NoondE · 29/11/2018 13:11

This is my Daughters name! I love it ❤️ We call her Rolo for short!

daisypond · 29/11/2018 16:24

I really like Rosabel. I think it's great. Similar vibe to Annabel, but more quirky. Rosabelle is a bit frilly for me - a bit like Annabelle. But I would pronounce Rosabel with the stress on the Ros, and Rosabelle with the stress on the Belle.

Shadow1234 · 29/11/2018 18:35

Agree with other posters, Rosa is a beautiful name (and maybe Belle) as a middle name, but Rosabelle is a bit too much. What about Rosina if you don't like Rosa.

Sessy19 · 30/11/2018 05:49

I think this name is gorgeous 😊

It’s a little off the standard, insipid ‘Phoebe, Evie, Grace, Isabelle...’ yawnathon and yer not too far from ‘safe’. And it’s super pretty!

Ihuntmonsters · 30/11/2018 06:04

I prefer Rosabel or Rosabella to Rosabelle. There are lots of nice long Rose names. I think I like Roseanne best though.

moredoll · 30/11/2018 06:32

I like Rosa better.

Astronica · 30/11/2018 06:32

I'm not keen on it. I love Rose, and like Isabel and Annabel, but Rosabelle just doesn't do it for me.

LegoPiecesEverywhere · 01/12/2018 09:57

I love Rose.

MeganJ93 · 02/12/2018 15:20

It's pretty but I prefer Rosabel.

KiplingAngelCake · 03/12/2018 13:11

Much prefer Rosa. Rosabelle sounds a bit fairy princess to me. Sorry!
