I've always found it to look somehow "unfinished"! Beth is pretty, as is Bethany.

Good name. In knew a Bethan at school and she was a lovely person. It's a bit "stronger" than either Beth or Bethany imo.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 17/03/2017 21:32

Prefer Bethany Rose.

TheCakes · 17/03/2017 21:32

Pretty. I like it.

Sophronia · 18/03/2017 02:23

Lovely

Its a lovely name and I think its one of those names that is both pretty and quite strong sounding and will suit any personality.

KoalaDownUnder · 18/03/2017 02:28

I don't like it, or Bethany. Much prefer just Beth.

emilybrontescorset · 18/03/2017 07:02

I find it a bit unfinished too almost as though it's short for something,
Was it originally a mn for Elizabeth?

I prefer Elizabeth or Bethany.

BounceBounceSplishSplash · 18/03/2017 09:24

Like others, I much prefer Betjany

Bananamanfan · 18/03/2017 09:27

Bethan is beautiful. I have a Beth (Elizabeth), much prefer Bethan to Bethany

Thanksforasking · 18/03/2017 09:30

It's very popular in my area for teenagers-twenties.

BounceBounceSplishSplash · 18/03/2017 09:30

Bethany - not Betjan Wink

Bananasandchocolatecustard · 18/03/2017 09:33

It's a great Welsh name, plus it's my daughters name.

1horatio · 18/03/2017 10:07

I prefer "Beth" Elizabeth.

GreatFuckability · 18/03/2017 12:57

Was it originally a mn for Elizabeth?

Its the welsh diminutive form of elizabeth. so much the same as Beth or Betty.

i like it, pronounced Beth-an, not Beth-un as often happens.
