I love the name Tatiana (spelled like this). It's beautiful.

Not so keen on Tova. Sounds like a car/shoe brand.

I know a few Tovas, I think it's lovely. Rather depends on your last name - I think Tova is more versatile. Tatiana needs an interesting last name, you can't be Tatiana Johnson.

Sophiet1908 · 15/03/2017 02:20

Hi, our last name is rather long and foreign if that makes any difference. Thanks :)

Tova's cute.
Round where we are Tatiana is slang for prostitute. Sorry!

Jooni · 15/03/2017 06:54

I like both. I think I'd go with Tova/Tove with a long complicated surname though.

SuperBeagle · 15/03/2017 08:29

Tatiana is lovely (this spelling, no second n).

Not a fan of Tova. It sounds incomplete or made up.

Jamhandprints · 15/03/2017 08:37

Tova's a nice jewish name. I don't like Tatiana, it sounds a bit fake unless you or your DP are Russian. If it's a traditional name in your culture then it's fine.

BarInSpace · 15/03/2017 09:24

I like Tatiana. Also Tara, Natasha, Talia.

Purplebluebird · 15/03/2017 09:25

I prefer Tuva :) Tatiana is fine too.

Elbi · 15/03/2017 10:32

I love Tova. Like the strong meaning too - isn't it 'beautiful thunder'?

GreedyDuck · 15/03/2017 12:01

I prefer Tove (pronounced similarly but not quite) - as in Tove Jansson, the creator of the Moomins.

Sophronia · 15/03/2017 15:45

Tatiana (this spelling)

Alyosha · 15/03/2017 16:14

Tatiana is lovely.

What nn? I'm assuming Tania?

Sophiet1908 · 15/03/2017 17:14

thanks for your suggestions x still deciding though Confused

Oh I do like Tova. I've never heard it before.

I'm not quite so keen on Tatiana.

EssentialHummus · 15/03/2017 19:09

Not a fan of Tova - in Hebrew it's the female form of "good", which seems really boring. Prefer Tatiana, nn Tania.

hoddtastic · 15/03/2017 19:24

i like Tove- DS has a friend called Tove. Tatiana is the 'correct' spelling, Tatti-Anna (tatty anna) is less good spelled the way you have done it, like 2 separate words, tatty and anna

hoddtastic · 15/03/2017 19:24

or Tatjana

1horatio · 16/03/2017 23:17

I love Tova :)

Zampa · 16/03/2017 23:20

My daughter's middle name is Tove. We pronounce it two-va, like a Yorkshire man referring to his vacuum cleaner. I love it and sometimes wish we'd gone for it as a first name.

buttercup54321 · 17/03/2017 00:02

Dislike both. Tanya/Tania?

KoalaDownUnder · 17/03/2017 03:31

Oh God, anything but Tanya/Tania! Shock

marmitecrumpets · 17/03/2017 03:51

Tatiana

CleanMess · 17/03/2017 08:27

Both are lovely and you spelling of Tatianna is lovely too. I guess it would make me stress 'Anna' rather than 'Anya'. IYSWIM

Really nice names!

BasicBetty · 17/03/2017 15:04

I've not heard Tova before. Much prefer Tatiana.
