Beautiful list, only ones I don't like as much are Amara, Sienna and Gabrielle/a

Lots of inspiration for me too. I think you could have a beautiful first and middle name from those.

MoonfaceAndSilky · 14/03/2017 12:26

The only thing I can think of to narrow it down is that Eva, Grace and Lily are very popular, so if you don't want her being called Eva A, Eva B etc when she's at school, then go for the more unusual ones.
Ivy could be good, I normally associate it with an old lady but as a little girl's name it is quite pretty.

Afreshstartplease · 14/03/2017 12:28

I'd choose Thea or Grace

indigo13 · 14/03/2017 12:32

An easy way to shorten your lovely list would be to remove the very popular ones like Rose, Grace, Sophia and lily as they are so overused they've lost their shine. Gabriella is very nice

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 14/03/2017 12:37

Sophia Grace
All lovely names though, aside from
Thea and Iris.
Would Clara be Cl-ah-ra or Clair-a

kittenxo · 14/03/2017 13:16

Thank you Flowers

So none stick out as being particularly awful? Grin

Good idea about taking out really popular ones - and Clara would be Cl-ah-ra Smile

Magnumaddict- hadn't considered middle names yet, good point!

My faves are:

Eva
Grace
Clara
Thea.

Eva is not massively popular in my area (compared to Ava and Evie).

Eva Grace jumps out at me as a fab name,

BounceBounceSplishSplash · 14/03/2017 13:22

I like Iris, Ivy, Gabriella and Thea in that order the most.

Don't like Alylissa or Amara.

Lily and Eva are incredibly dull and overused imo as is Sophia.

littlemissM92 · 14/03/2017 13:26

Thea or iris x

Rockaby · 14/03/2017 13:51

Lovely list! My faves are Clara, Rosalie, Thea and Gabrielle.

CakeRattleandRoll · 14/03/2017 14:27

My favourites are:
Rosalie
Iris
Ivy

ChippieBeanAndHorro · 14/03/2017 16:49

Gabriella and Clara are awesome!

I'm not a fan of Sienna. And Amara... is Amara a story book witch or maybe an evil character in a TV show or something? Confused

Bloosh · 14/03/2017 16:52

Clara, Thea or Iris

Lovelybreadbin · 14/03/2017 16:55

I like Rosalie and Thea. In fact, Rosalie Thea is a lovely name.

Sophronia · 14/03/2017 17:36

Rose

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 14/03/2017 18:00

Rosalie and Alyssa.

kittenxo · 14/03/2017 20:21

Thank you for the feedback Smile

Chippiebean - I saw 'Amara' on a baby girl name list online somewhere! Never heard of it before then.. I was just trying to add a bit of variation and some names that weren't super popular Grin

Is Gabrielle/a popular? I love it - not keen on 'Gabby' as a nickname though.. Hmm

Sorry. The name is actually lovely. But I genuinely think there's a TV baddie or something called Amara... Sorry, I should have made that clearer.

You could call her Ella? Bree? GG? I think there are several nicknames for Gabriella.

It hasn't been in the top 100 for the last few years. I don't think that's very popular... (?)

SirNiallDementia · 14/03/2017 20:36

Love the name Clara, one of those rare names that works from tiny baby to old lady!

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 14/03/2017 20:40

Kitten, you could have Bella, for a nick name

PersisFord · 14/03/2017 20:46

I love them all except Thea, because I am from Essex and would pronounce it "fe-ar" which isn't pretty. Despite the hype about Sophia being common I don't know any.

I think Sophia Grace, Clara Grace or Gabrielle Rose

pilates · 14/03/2017 21:01

^
Agree regarding Thea - not many children will pronounce it correctly.

All the rest are lovely.

SuperBeagle · 14/03/2017 21:31

I like:

  • Rose (prefer Rosie, but I think I'm in the minority on that!)
  • Grace
  • Clara
  • Sophia
  • Lily
  • Sienna
  • Ivy

Dislike:

  • Eva
  • Alyssa
  • Rosalie
  • Amara
  • Iris
  • Thea

Neutral about:

  • Gabrielle / Gabriella (prefer Gabrielle)
kittenxo · 14/03/2017 21:53

Chippiebean - ah I see! And good points Smile

Hadnt thought about Thea being pronounced Fe-ar - think that's off the shortlist for that reason (possibly a middle name depending on final name decision! Smile )

Really lovely names. Not over keen on Amara or Sienna. I know an Elissa and prefer that spelling.
